My current research focuses on two main themes.
The first concerns migration, with particular attention to individuals who have left Russia since the invasion of Ukraine. Within this group, I am especially interested in the emotions and perceptions of Russian migrants who do not support the invasion.
The second theme examines Russian society, focusing on social transformations since the collapse of the Soviet Union. In particular, I study the phenomenon of nostalgia for the Soviet past.
